It’s not always easy to recognize in the moment that a situation is happening for your benefit when in that moment you’re angry or upset. It’s easy to point a finger and place blame on someone/something else for your misfortunes, but who is that really benefitting. If anything, you’re making yourself more upset.

This week, The GlowJo Podcast is a quick 15-minute, solo episode, where I get real. Join me as I explore how life can change for the better when we learn to view things as though they are happening FOR us vs. TO us. I’ve been going through some rough times recently and decided to throw on a pair of my “this is happening FOR me” glasses and found that it has brought me tons of clarity. 💌

4 Benefits of Viewing Life Through The Lens of “This Is Happening FOR Me”

1. You’ll develop a deep sense of trust in a greater plan

It is much easier said than done, but, relax. Be present. Remember that the universe wouldn’t give you anything that you can’t handle. You are so much stronger than you think – so be in the present moment and trust that everything is unraveling for your benefit.

2. You’ll grow in the best way

You’ll learn lessons, you’ll evolve into the person you’re meant to be. You’ll find this difficult because let’s be real, change is hard. But once you surrender and acknowledge that everything is happening for you – you’ll begin to see the bigger picture.

3. You’ll be able to take responsibility for your life

Taking responsibility for not only your life but your actions will help you heal in so many different ways. You’ll find that once you do this, you’ll be able to see how your choices are impacting your life, giving you the opportunity to actively change the things you don’t like.

4. You’ll get to know yourself on a deeper level

By understanding that things are happening for you vs to you – you’ll be able to allow yourself to rest. Give yourself a little bit of grace and let go of control. You’ll become more self-aware and find things about yourself you really like and others you might not like. Traits and habits you should break and others you should implement.

Remember that the universe is at work for YOU.
